The final and most immersive phase of the program places students directly in the working ecosystem of DCDC Kidney Care’s dialysis centers. Here, they experience:

Real Patient Care: Interacting with and managing actual dialysis patients under the supervision of senior technicians and clinical experts.

Real Healthcare Environment: Working within a functioning dialysis unit alongside nephrologists, nurses, and administrative staff to understand the full spectrum of renal care.

Real Challenges: Handling clinical complications such as hypotension, clotting, or access failures; managing patient anxiety; and responding to emergencies with preparedness.

Real Outcomes: Monitoring treatment efficacy, managing dialysis prescriptions, and ensuring high standards of patient safety and satisfaction.

Real Documentation: Learning professional healthcare documentation practices, electronic medical records, consent forms, patient monitoring charts, and reporting standards.
